Tournament
Deriving the Process Order from the Draw

A Draw and Process event combines two knockouts hence players have two lives. The winner of the Draw plays the winner of the Process to decide the winner of the event.

The details of how to order the Draw and Process knockouts are given in the Croquet Association's Regulations for Tournaments. The table in the Regulations for ordering the Process is opaque! This page produces the mapping for the Process.

Recipe

Take the list of players, including byes, in the first round of the Draw and float all the players to the top and all the byes to the bottom retaining the player order. Number them from top to bottom as player(1) .. player(2N). N is the number of rounds, i.e.
